The Old Rishworthian Club was
established in 1926 by a handful of old
pupils with the purpose of promoting
goodwill and fellowship amongst Old
Rishworthians, and the stimulation of
interest in Rishworth School.
Today the Club reflects the cosmopolitan
nature of the School with well over 1000
members spread throughout the UK and
overseas.
The Club runs its own
Scholarship Fund which provides
financial assisitance to parents who
would otherwise be unable to send their
children to Rishworth. To date
over 100 pupils have benefited from the
scheme.
Through its Executive Committee the
Club also organises regular reunions
including an Annual Dinner during
November in the Halifax area and a
Spring Lunch in London. In
addition there is a well-established OR
Golf Society, an OR Magazine and, more
recently, the Old Rishworthian Club web
presence.
