Years 10-11 GCSE

Years 10 and 11
The core subjects taken by all pupils are English (Language and Literature), for most Mathematics, and Science. All pupils will, in addition, continue to have Games and PSHCE. Pupils then choose four subjects to add to this core from the option list below:
Art and Design, Business, Computing, Design and Technology, Drama, Food and Nutrition, French, Geography, History, IT, Music, Physical Education, PLN support, Psychology, Science (Triple Award), Spanish.

All GCSE courses are examined at the end of Year 11. In addition, some subjects will have continuous assessment tasks or coursework as part of their specifications during the two years of the GCSE courses.
