Rishworth has a long history of supporting Forces families.

UK based forces parents looking for day places are entitled to a 10% discount.
We understand the importance of stability in the lives of children whose parents may be called away, our boarding houses are cosy and family-centred, the secure havens needed by young people away from home. Our dedicated team of boarding staff and extensive pastoral care system are there to support our students in growing and progressing; academically, physically, spiritually and emotionally.
We understand the pressures Forces families face, for example we are flexible about accommodating family visits to fit around leave.
As a school with our own Prep school and Sixth form, our pupils stay with us all the way through to 18 years of age, this continuous education has many benefits including the development of life long friendships, a genuine familial environment and exceptional pastoral care. A close relationship is built up between parents and boarding staff allowing families to be kept up-to-date with their child’s progress and development.
We have a daily programme of interesting and stimulating activities on offer known as EE (enrichment and extension), on weekends we have including regular trips and visits to a whole variety of places e.g. go-karting, cultural visit to London, the Theatre, shopping in Manchester etc.
Rishworth School is ideally located close to the M62, within easy reach of all major bases across the North. Manchester and Leeds Bradford airports are also easily accessible.
