Thorunn and Olivia Byrne

Thorunn Byrne completed a 2:1 honours degree in history at Durham University in 2015 and then joined the graduate programme of Morrison Supermarkets. She worked as a deputy store manager in stores in Cambourne, Milton Keynes and St Ives (Cambs) – the latter of which is the Company’s product development store (The one you see in their adverts on the TV). She was the HR manager of the latter two stores and undertook development training in  her spear time in human resources with CIPD earning a degree level qualification.

Thorunn has recently left Morrisons and is now the HR Manager of Christ College, Cambridge University and continues her professional training having recently commenced a masters level distance learning course with CIPD. She is also captain of one of the St Neots Netball Club’s teams.

Olivia Byrne recently fulfilled her long term vocation to become a doctor having graduated with honours from Nottingham University. She also took a 2:1 B. Med Sci degree as part of her studies. Olivia is now working as a F1 doctor at Derby Royal Hospital
