Old Rishworthians

Welcome

Welcome to all Old Rishworthians - former pupils & staff.

The Old Rishworthian Club was established in 1926 by a handful of old pupils with the purpose of promoting goodwill and fellowship amongst OR's and the stimulation of interest in Rishworth School.

Today the Club reflects the cosmopolitan nature of the School with well over 1,000 members spread throughout the UK and overseas. The Club organises regular reunions, ranging from dinners to golf events, has its own Facebook page and publishes content in the Rishworthian Magazine.

The Club also runs its own Scholarship Fund, which provides financial assistance to parents who would otherwise be unable to send their children to Rishworth. To date over 100 pupils have benefited from the scheme.

Executive Committee

The Old Rishworthian Club is currently managed through an Executive Committee of former pupils covering 3 decades of Rishworthian life from the '60s, '70s and '80s but we are always looking for new and younger blood!

Close links are maintained with the School through the Head: Mrs Jessica Sheldrick and our Marketing Team.
