In June, we had the pleasure of welcoming the annual visit from students of the Lab School in Indonesia.
During their stay, they immersed themselves in British school life here at Rishworth, staying with some of our own students and forming special connections throughout the week.
Each student was buddied up with a Rishworth student and followed their full timetable, taking part in lessons such as English, PE, Food & Nutrition, Art, and more. It was a joy to see them embracing every opportunity with enthusiasm and curiosity!

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE

Minimum stay: 2 weeks (for a genuine immersion experience).

Options: Short-stay (weeks), Half-term stays, Full-term stays, or Flexi-boarding (subject to availability).

Academic: Students join normal classes with their peer group; EAL support offered if required.

Pastoral: Buddy/mentor system, each visitor will be paired with a student “buddy” to ease integration and support social and school life.

Activities: Full access to sports, arts, music, drama, enrichment clubs; weekend excursions to local cultural and historical sites.
