MEET OUR HEAD STUDENTS
At the heart of Rishworth School’s vibrant community are our exceptional Head Students: Poppy, Layla-Jay and Poppy. Together, they embody the values, spirit and ambition that define student life at Rishworth. As role models across the Senior School and Sixth Form, they play an active part in shaping our culture, supporting peers and representing the school at key events throughout the year.
Each of our Head Students brings a unique strength to the team. Poppy is widely admired for her calm leadership style, academic commitment and ability to bring people together. Layla-Jay is known for her energy, creativity and passion for student voice; she works closely with younger pupils to ensure everyone feels heard and supported. Ellie leads with warmth, confidence and a genuine enthusiasm for community involvement, always striving to make a positive difference both inside and outside the classroom.
Together, they champion student wellbeing, contribute to school initiatives, welcome visitors and act as ambassadors for the values of respect, resilience and responsibility. Their dedication, integrity and teamwork help to inspire those around them and set a powerful example for future year groups.

Our Prep School is based at Heathfield House, set in its own grounds, surrounded by beautiful countryside. Heathfield House has its own spacious and well-equipped hall for assemblies, dramatic productions and concerts, as well as specialist rooms for Science, Art, Design Technology, ICT, Learning Support and Music. Alongside this, Rishworth Prep children also share the Senior School facilities, including the swimming pool, the Performing Arts Centre and extensive playing fields.
