Rishworth School students have been making a difference in their local community thanks to a host of different activities.
Year 11, 12 and 13 pupils from the School have been litter picking, watering plants and helping out in the Riverside Café in Ripponden, as part of their Enrichment programme.
With equipment loaned from Calderdale Council, students took to the streets and collected several bags of litter, with staff from the School also providing education on the importance of a clean environment and recycling.
As well as this, plants were watered in Ripponden, in line with the Ripponden in Bloom community project which is well established in the area.
Students also provided and produced light entertainment in the Riverside Café, a Café dedicated to welcoming people with dementia, Parkinson’s as well as their Carers.
