School Food and Menus

At Rishworth School we encourage our students to make healthy eating choices.

Our experienced catering team, led by Catering Manager Andrew Algar, fully understand the importance of a good diet and every dish served is prepared from scratch on-site by our talented team of chefs.

Andrew joined the School in December 2021 with an excellent pedigree, having led the catering team at Fulneck School for nearly 7 years. Prior to that, he worked at ITV in Leeds, catering for the cast and crew at Emmerdale. He prides his food on home cooking, using locally sourced ingredients which are fresh, tasty and looking great.

Rishworth students have the opportunity to try new dishes from around the world, broadening their taste buds and trying something new. So whether you’re a meat-eater, vegetarian, vegan you’ll always be able to find a new and exciting dish, or a familiar favourite, that will excite your taste buds!
